Surcheros Fresh Mex - Fernandina Beach

I regret having to leave a negative review, but I was really disappointed to find just a tiny scoop of meat on my $12 plate. It felt more like a rice, bean, and cheese salad than a proper meal. This isn't the Sucheros experience I've enjoyed at their other locations.

We ordered chicken Quesadillas, but one of them didn't have any chicken in it. It was a simple mistake, yet when we called to report it, they refused to assist us without a receipt, even though it was an online order from the Surcheros website. They also insisted that we return the old food. It took two trips to the store and over an hour to resolve the issue, and we didn’t receive any compensation for their mistake. This was the first time we've had a negative experience here, and we used to come weekly. It's unlikely we'll return after this encounter; they not only messed up our order but were also rude about it.

I would love it if you could add a vegan option for "meat," such as vegan taco meat made from mushrooms, walnuts, and cauliflower rice, or fajita-seasoned soy curls!

I'm from out of town so maybe these kind of prices and serving portions are normal. I'm used to bigger servings and smaller prices. Tasted good but the amount of meat that was put in the taco bowl was sad. Not worth the price.

We got here when they opened, all food was ready, but had to wait for ice in the drink machine. Will probably go back if in the area again
